ABOUT

Competition is organized by UNLIMITED dance school and it is situated in Levice, Slovak Republic. The tradition of this competition is more than 10 years and it is very famous and wanted by Slovak dancers. In november 2022 there was the first year of INTERNATIONAL edition and it was opened for all nations (9 countries were participating).

We can help with taxi, which will pick you up at the airport.

Accomodation:

• There is plenty of nice hotels and apartmants in Levice, which provide also breakfast. The hall is very close to center of city, you can use taxi for approximatelly 2-3 Euros to get from your accomodation to the hall.
• We can arrange cheap accomodation for you and your team in students home - it is arround 12 EUR/night, just let us know - we will send you everything about it. BUT the space is limited, so if you are sure in accomodation, contact us asap

RULES

The competition follows IDO rules.

Rules for discipline ALL IN BLACK - All dancers of all age divisions and all levels are dancing together and competing together. Age does not matter, the winner is only one, no matter how old or young the dancer is :) COSTUME for this discipline is PLAIN WEAR in colour BLACK - rhinestones, applications, feathers etc. are NOT ALLOWED.

Rules for UNLIMITED WINNER - all winners of LEVEL INTERNATIONAL DISCO DANCE SOLO (children F/M, junior 1 F/M, junior 2 F/M, adult 1A F, adult 1B, adult male) are competing all together - THE WINNER CAN BE ONLY ONE - THE BEST ONE :)

Start fee: 10 euro per dancer in every discipline

LEVELS

RISING STAR - for beginners

In this level can be the dance floor (24m x 12m) splitted in two halfs, so the dancers are using the dance floor 12m x 12m.

The dancers are dancing in 2 big heats.

* The first big heat is 1 min, maximum 5 dancers on the dance floor.

* Second big heat is 1 min, max 15 dancers on the dance floor.

* In the semifinal round in the first big heat there are maximum 4 dancers on the dance floor and in the second big heat all dancers together.

* In the final round in the first big heat there are maximum 3 dancers on the dance floor and in the second big heat all dancers together.

Coaches please consider this level is ONLY for dancers begginers. Dancers can have plain wear, but also stoned costumes, it depends on what they have. Adjudicators will not take into account the costume, they will focus on how the dancer show off on the dancefloor, AND of course the composition and technique.

STAR - for more experienced dancers

SUPERSTAR - not extraleague, but dancing is on higher level

The dancers are dancing in 2 big heats.

* The first big heat is 1 min, maximum 5 dancers on the dance floor.

* Second big heat is 1 min, max 15 dancers on the dance floor.

* In the semifinal round in the first big heat there are maximum 3 dancers on the dance floor and in the second big heat all dancers together.

* In the final round in the first big heat there are maximum 2 dancers on the dance floor and in the second big heat all dancers together.

INTERNATIONAL - highest level for dancers

The dancers are dancing by IDO RULES - 30 seconds, 1 min and 1 min.
